INTERIM COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
GLOBULIN, HEPATITIS B IMMUNE, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Interim Commercial Item Description which was developed by the Defense Personnel Support Center, Directorate of Medical Material, DPSC-RST, 2800 South 20th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19101, based upon currently available technical information.
Salient Characteristics:
Shall be Globulin, Hepatitis B Immune, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
Materials used in the manufacture of the product shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Samples of the final, filled immediate containers shall be submitted as follows:
The quality assurance representative, when inspection is at source, or the contractor, when specification is at destination, shall send the following by the fastest route directly to:

1. Three (3) vials of globulin (including circulars) from each lot or batch, accompanied by DD Form 1222 bearing the following information:
a. National Stock Number
b. Item Identification
c. Contact number
d. Contractor’s name and address
e. Lot or control number
f. Quantity of material represented by the sample
