COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
VERAPAMIL HYDROCHLORIDE INJECTION
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
This Commercial Item Description covers
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Verapamil Hydrochloride Injection.
Shall contain 2.5 mg of Verapamil Hydrochloride in each milliliter of solution within the applicable assay limits of the solution.
Workmanship. Product shall be free from defects with detract from their appearance or impair their serviceability.
Unit.
For Size 1 – Container (CO). One container (ampul or vial) containing 2 ml, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 2 – Package (PG). Shall be supplied in an ampul or vial containing 2 ml. One package containing 10 ampuls or vials, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 3 – Package (PG). Shall be supplied in an ampul or vial containing 2 ml. One package containing 5 ampuls or vials, as specified, constitutes one unit.
