COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
LIDOCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE AND EPINEPHRINE INJECTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Lidocaine Hyrdorchloride and Epinephrine Injection, USP.
All ingredients shall be of pharmaceutical grade.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
For Strength 3, Size 4, shall be a 1.5 percent solution of Lidocaine Hyrdorchloride with Epinephrine 1:200,000, within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
For Strength 2, Size 2, shall be a 1 percent solution of Lidocaine Hyrdorchloride with Epinephrine 1:100,000, within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
For Strength 2, Size 3, shall be a 1 percent solution of Lidocaine Hyrdorchloride with Epinephrine 1:100,000, within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
For Strength 4, Size 3, shall be a 2 percent solution of Lidocaine Hyrdorchloride with Epinephrine 1:100,000, within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
For Strength 1, Size 1, shall be a 0.5 percent solution of Lidocaine Hyrdorchloride with Epinephrine 1:200,000, within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
For Strength 5, Size 2, shall be a 2 percent solution of Lidocaine Hyrdorchloride with Epinephrine 1:200,000, within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
