CROMOLYN SODIUM INHALATION AEROSOL, ORAL
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
Salient characteristics.
Shall be Cromolyn Sodium Inhalation Aerosol, Oral.
Shall be a micronized suspension of cromolyn sodium and sorbitan trioleate, with dichlorotetraflurethane and dichlorodifluromethane as propellants suitable for oral inhalation.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Strength:
The valve shall deliver in each metered spray, 800 micrograms (mcg) of cromolyn sodium within the applicable assay limits.
Workmanship. The product shall be free from defects which may detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
