COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
MEPIVACAINE HYDROCHLORIDE INJECTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specifications MIL-M-3734 and MIL-M-37397 which are cancelled.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Mepivacaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP.
Shall be in accordance with requirements of the USP.
For Strength I, Size 3 and Size 4, shall contain a 1 percent solution of Mepivacaine Hydrochloride within the applicable assay limits.
For Strength II, shall contain a 1.5 percent solution of Mepivacaine Hydrochloride within the applicable assay limits.
For Strength III, shall contain a 2 percent solution of Mepivacaine Hydrochloride within the applicable assay limits
For Strength IV, shall contain a 3 percent solution of Mepivacaine Hydrochloride within the applicable assay limits
