COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
METOCLOPRAMIDE INJECTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Metoclopramide Injection, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
Shall be preservative free.
All ingredients shall be of pharmaceutical grade.
Shall contain Metoclopramide, USP, equivalent to 5 mg Metoclopramide per ml. within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
Workmanship. The injection shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
Unit. Package (PG).
For Size 1, shall be supplied 2 ml in a commercially available vial. One package containing 25 vials, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 2, shall be supplied 10 ml in a commercially available vial. One package containing 25 vials, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 3, shall be supplied 30 ml in a commercially available vial. One package containing 6 vials, as specified, constitutes one unit.
