COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
CEFOXITIN SODIUM, STERILE, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Cefoxitin Sodium, Sterile, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Strength:
1. Cefoxitin Sodium equivalent to 1 g Cefoxitin.
2. Cefoxitin Sodium equivalent to 2 g Cefoxitin.
3. Cefoxitin Sodium equivalent to 10 g Cefoxitin.
Each vial or bottle shall contain the labeled amount of Cefoxitin Sodium equivalent to Cefoxitin within the applicable assay limits.
