COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
ISOETHARINE INHALATION SOLUTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
Shall be Isoetharine Inhalation Solution, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
Shall contain 1 percent of Isoetharine Hydrochloride in an aqueous glycerine solution containing Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, and Sodium Hydroxide with Methylparaben, Propylparaben, and acetone Sodium Bisulfate.
All ingredients used in the productís manufacture shall be of pharmaceutical grade.
Shall ba a solution for oral inhalation only.
Workmanship. The product shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
Unit. Bottle (BT).
For Size 1, one amber-colored dropper bottle containing 10 ml, with dropper calibrated at 0.25 ml and 0.5 ml, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 2, one amber-colored dropper bottle containing 30 ml, with dropper calibrated at 0.25 ml and 0.5 ml, as specified, constitutes one unit.
Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and conforms to the producersí own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract.
