COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
FLUOCINONIDE CREAM, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specification MIL-F-37335A which is cancelled.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Fluocinonide Cream, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirement of the USP.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
For type I, shall contain 0.05 percent to Fluocinonide (w/w) within the applicable assay limits for the cream. Shall be supplied as a water-miscible, greaseless base.
For Type II, shall contain 0.05 percent Fluocinonide (w/w) within the applicable assay limits for the cream. Shall be supplied as a water-washable, aqueous emollient base.
Workmanship. The Cream shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
Unit. Tube (TU).
For Size 1, one tube containing 15 grams, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 2, one tube containing 60 grams, as specified, constitutes one unit.
