COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
FENTANYL CITRATE INJECTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specification MIL-F-37367A which is cancelled.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Fentanyl Citrate Injection, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
Shall be equivalent to 0.05 mg of Fentanyl per ml within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
Material used in manufacture shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Workmanship. The injection shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
Unit. Package (PG).
For Size 1 – Shall be supplied 2 ml in an ampul. One package containing 10 ampuls, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 2 – Shall be supplied 5 ml in an ampul. One package containing 10 ampuls, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 3 – Shall be supplied 10 ml in an ampul. One package containing 5 ampuls, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 4 – Shall be supplied 10 ml in an ampul. One package containing 5 ampuls, as specified, constitutes one unit.
