COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
BUPIVACAINE HYDROCHLORIDE INJECTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specification MIL-B-37245A which is cancelled.
Salient characteristics.
Shall be Bupivacaine Hydrochloride Injection, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Strength:
1. 0.25 percent
2. 0.5 percent
3. 0.75 percent
The solutions shall assay to contain the labeled amount of Bupivacaine Hydrochloride within the applicable assay limits for the injections.
Workmanship. The injection shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.

1. 10 ml
2. 30 ml
3. 50 ml
