COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
NOREPINEPHRINE BITARTRATE INJECTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specification MIL-L-37585 which is cancelled.
Salient characteristics.
Shall be Norepinephrine Bitartrate Injection, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Shall contain the equivalent of 1 mg of Norepinephrine per ml within the applicable assay limits for the injection.
Workmanship. The injection shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
Unit. Package (PG). Shall be supplied 4 ml in an ampul. One package containing 10 ampuls, as specified, constitutes one unit.
Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and conforms to the producers’ own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract.
