COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
PROCHLORPERAZINE EDISYLATE INJECTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specification MIL-P-37592 which is cancelled.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Prochloroperazine Edisylate Injection, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Shall contain a quantity of Prochlorperazine Edisylate equivalent to 5 mg of Prochlorperazine per ml, within the applicable assay limits.
Workmanship. The injection shall be free from defects which detract from their appearance or impair their serviceability.
DISTRIBUTION STATEMENT A. Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited.
