COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
OXYMETAZOLINE HYDROCHLORIDE NASAL SOLUTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specification MIL-O-37597 which is cancelled.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride Nasal Solution, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirement of the USP.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Strength.
1. 0.025%.
2. 0.05%.
The solution shall assay to contain the labeled amount of Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride within the applicable assay limits for the solution.
Workmanship. The solution shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
