COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
CLINDAMYCIN PHOSPHATE TOPICAL SOLUTION, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description
Salient Characteristics:
Shall be Clindamycin Phosphate Topical Solution, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
Shall be Clindamycin Phosphate Solution containing Clindamycin Phosphate equivalent to 10 mg Clindamycin per ml in a base consisting of Isopropyl Alcohol, 50 percent v/v, Propylene Glycol and Purified Water.
All ingredients shall of a pharmaceutical grade.
Workmanship. The solution shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
Unit. Bottle (BT).
For Size 1, one bottle containing 60 ml, with a spring-activated valve applicator tip, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 2, one bottle containing 30 ml, with a spring-activated valve applicator tip, as specified, constitutes one unit.
Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and conforms to the producers’ own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract.
