COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
TRIMETHOBENZAMIDE HYDROCHLORIDE AND BENZOCAINE SUPPOSITORIES
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specification MIL-T-37534 which is cancelled.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Trimethobenzamide Hydrochloride and Benzocaine Suppositories.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
For Strength 1, shall contain 100 mg of Trimethobenzamide Hydrochloride and 2 percent Benzocaine per suppository, within the applicable assay limits for the suppositories.
For Strength 2, shall contain 200 mg of Trimethobenzamide Hydrochloride and 2 percent Benzocaine per suppository, within the applicable assay limits for the suppositories.
Workmanship. The suppositories shall be free from defects which detract from their appearance or impair their serviceability.
Unit.
For Size I – Package (PG). One package containing 10 suppositories, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size II - Package (PG). One package containing 50 suppositories, as specified, constitutes one unit.
