COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
CHLORZOXAZONE AND ACETAMINOPHEN TABLETS, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Chlorzoxazone and Acetaminophen Tablets, USP.
Shall be in conformance with the requirements of the USP.
Shall contain 250 mg of Chlorzoxazone and 300 mg of Acetaminophen per tablet, within the applicable assay limits.
Materials used in manufacture shall be of pharmaceutical grade.
Workmanship. Tablets shall be free from defects which detract from their appearance or impair their serviceability.
Unit.
For Size 1 – Bottle (BT). One bottle containing 500 tablets, as specified, constitutes one unit.
For Size 2 – Package (PG). One package containing 500 tablets, individually sealed in commercially available blister or strip packaging, as specified, constitutes one unit.
Contactor certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and conforms to the producers’ own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract.
