COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
SUCCINYLCHOLINE CHLORIDE, STERILE, USP
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Military Specification MIL-S-37681A which is cancelled.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be Succinylcholine Chloride, Sterile, USP.
Shall be in accordance with the requirements of the USP.
All ingredients shall be of a pharmaceutical grade.
Each immediate container shall contain 1.0 gram of Succinylcholine Chloride, within the applicable assay limits.
Shall be suitable for IV infusion when solubilized.
Workmanship. The product shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability.
Unit. Package (PG). Shall be supplied 1.0 gram in a commercially available immediate container, equipped with sterile device to pierce the diaphragm of a rubber stopper of a solution bottle. One package containing 12 immediate containers, as specified, constitutes one unit.
Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and conforms to the producers’ own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract.
